The Device Solutions Division already has eight R&D centers, including memory, System LSI, semiconductors, packaging, LEDs, production technology, software, and panels.

Earlier this year, Samsung had pledged to become the world's second-largest chip foundry, with annual revenues rushing to 10 billion U.S. dollars. In the future, it intends to surpass the foundry leader TSMC.

According to insiders, Samsung’s multi-pronged approach to founding foundry business has established the “Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem” (SAFE) at the beginning of the year and strengthened the relationship between major customers, such as Qualcomm, to enhance growth. engine.
