The composition and classification of LED chips

Take three yuan LED chip for example, it is mainly contains three elements of the LED chip, such as HY, HO, IR, SR and other products, known as the ternary LED. Its visible brightness is generally more than four yuan (four elements) LED low, full-color display screen used in most of the red chip is a four-element products, which is characterized by high brightness.

    The difference between the ternary LED chip and the quaternary LED chip is mainly due to the difference in the semiconductor material of their light emitting area. Such as ternary 

    LED chip GaALAs GaAsP and so on. The quad chip is InGaALP. Although the ternary and quaternary material is different, the quaternary brightness is higher, but the quaternary LED has IR and other electrical bad than ternary, to anti-static, more difficult to work.
