In this regard, there are industry insiders believe that domestic companies have to get involved in the LED car lighting market is a good thing, can play a role in promoting the development of the entire industry.
Of course, not only domestic manufacturers, international companies are also targeting the LED automotive lighting market, and to the extent of the layout. For example, OSRAM, Panasonic, Lumileds, Philips, Nichia, Cree and other overseas giants.
As we all know, the global automotive lighting market has been firmly controlled by these international giants. On the one hand, because automotive systems are much more complex than lighting fixtures, automotive lighting is considered a difficult barrier to entry; on the other hand, the supply chain of the headlight assembly market is difficult to enter and has been recalled. With regard to the entire lamp technology, in addition to the headlamps, domestic manufacturers can basically achieve. In the headlight part, it is expected that 'breaking of ice' will be realized soon, because OEMs, car lamp factories and LED packaging manufacturers are constantly working together to try."

In 2017, the company acquired Yishang headlights (focusing on passenger cars) and Fuda Lighting (focusing on commercial headlights and LED lamp modules). Also as an LED packaging manufacturer, Dongsun Optoelectronics is constantly increasing its efforts in the distribution of the LED lamp market. The light module introduced in 2017 adopts the latest 3D white wall CSP LED. Its light emitting size is close to the luminous point of a traditional light bulb, and it is easier to match the light type. According to Chen Jiang, deputy general manager of Tungsten Optoelectronics, 3D white wall CSP LEDs will be able to better meet market demand by optimizing processes, improving product quality, reducing product costs, and expanding production scale.

In a word, the application of automotive lighting LED in automotive interior lighting, taillights, daytime running lights and other aspects has been very mature, and the unit price and gross profit of light products are from low to high, which are small lamp, rear combination lamp and headlamp respectively.
