In recent years, the application of the new metal halide perovskite materials in the light emitting devices has attracted wide attention, but the poor working stability of this type of device has become the bottleneck of its application.
Based on low cost and potential application in mass production, the researchers have successfully prepared an efficient and stable perovskite quantum dots LED. The device shows a high luminance of green light emission, the external quantum efficiency reaches 3.79%, the maximum luminance is 6093.2 qdera per square meter, its comprehensive performance is equivalent to the perovskite LED prepared by the common vacuum deposition method, while maintaining the unique advantage of the solution method.
More importantly, the device exhibits excellent humidity and temperature stability. In a high humidity environment with relative humidity of 75%, the device can work for more than 12 hours and still have strong light output at a high temperature of 120 degrees centigrade. After a continuous 3 heating and cooling cycle test, the performance of the device can be restored to 85% of the original.
